Default Turtle wax ice....typical turtle wax product or a new great product????

http://www.turtlewax.com/

just happen to be up during infomercial time on tv and came across this. looks like its a clear gel that goes on clear and wipes off with no effort . they attack mothers paste which i have used for years saying you get the good ol chalky residue blah blah blah. throughout the years I've always been told turtle wax is a joke , and have used mothers/meguires/shining monkey for years .figured id ask if anyone had used this product . they had alot of testimonials from muscle car guys that love it.

My friend just actually recommended me to use it. He used it last weekend and he said that it was great. He said that you can put it on a hot car or in direct sunlight, which is a plus in my book. I'm going to buy it and try it sometime this week.

I've never had a show car but I've used turtle wax and I thought it worked fine. I've never heard that they made a bad product.

My paint is too valuable to risk it with some questionable wax. I'll stick to Meguires.

ive thought the same thing. i always see turtle wax at safeway and what not , not really see it carried at real performance or detail shops. it was just so unusal to see a clear gel type wax that has no residue , i had to post it lol. its especially funny that they say you can use the wax on paint , metal surfaces , plastic bumpers and trim etc .....

Why is that funny? Other brand waxes can also be used on those surfaces safely.

i work at a parts store, and i've noticed that meguiars products are always bought more than any other brand that the store sells. that nanowax stuff that turtle wax just came out seems good but the price is kinda steep just to try it out.
