im looking to buy these Drop Zone Coilovers, they are pretty cheap so im thinking about buying them but first i wanted to see if anyone has herd anything about Drop Zone coilovers? good or bad? and my other question is how would they work on kyb struts? will my struts handle it or will they go? thanks i will really appriciate your replys.
I've had them for a year, my friend has used them now for about 4 yrs. They springs don't sink like normal ebay coilovers (from my experience), but if you're planning to slam it they are way too soft. Mine are for my integra and they are 450 front, 350 back. They will blow out the front struts in the front no problem. The backs don't seem to blow them out, even on my friend's who's had them for 4yrs now, nearly slammed.
This is NOT a suspension i suggest. I have it, i hate it. I'm upgrading to ksports this week. They will probably last, but combined with oem quality shocks, the ride will be complete ***. I have tokico blue in the front of my car (don't ask, they came with it, and when i got it i was broke and the suspension was broke, so i had to leave it that way other than the bay coilovers i added just to have some non-broke springs) and they blew out from the DZs but the ride is not bouncy. W/oem struts all around, the ride will bounce, and it will look super ghetto.
In my opinion, ditch the ebay sleeve coilover idea and save up for either some full coilovers or some decent aftermarket performance struts so you'll have a car that looks good and performs good too.
