viper alarm

Default viper alarm

alright del sol has a viper alarm installed on it. all of a sudden it stopped workking. i cut the wire and cleaned it up on the battery checked all connections for hte alarm on the module and the sensivity module as well and the receiver. batteries are good on remotes. anyone know what else it could be, i dont do electrical things.

What do you mean it stopped working? It's just dead, like there's no response when you press the transmitter buttons? What model alarm is it?

not sure its like the basic model it was on the car when i bought it the remotes just have on/off aux and the panic button thas all. the button lights up when you press the remote. but alarm dosent actiavte or anything no noise nada. it used to click the lights on and off when armed and disarmed then it just stopped werkin.

Crawl up under the dash and pull the unit out and get the model number off of it. While you're doing that, check the fuses.

alirhgt ill get the model number in the mormnin but when i was under there both fuses were fine. thats why its stumping me.

Test the power and ground wires with a multimeter and then make sure the antenna isn't fucked up.
