I had a leak in my car in several places allowing water in. Check out this link that I started in the sister forum honda-acura.net.

I knew water came from those 2 locations since I drove it in the rain with a paper towel wedged under the dash between the left wall and the fire wall and it got wet. I still have water getting in so I'm planning to remove the dash and try patching it up from the inside. The hole in the honda bulletin was hard to reach and can only be seen by removing the left front bumper. It's a royal PITA since it takes along time to find the source and patch up. Goodluck!

yeah thanx for all that, but i came to the conclusion that when i took off my side molding (95 coupe)when i got my car 2 years ago i didnt like it b/c my car was white n the molding was black. So for awhile i was debating if i wanted my doors shaved so i left the molding off n threw them away b/c i bent most of them in the process. N through on the year or so of thinking of getting it shaved i decided not to and begin to find some moldings to put back on but paint them white, but havent yet came across ne in good condition, which leads me to now that i still dont have them which cause alot of water from the thunderstorm to get into the holes along the sides of my car...i thought of that because when i'm at a car wash i most of the times spray at the door and when i'm done theirs water on the doorsill

i had a car float away in a flood.
We simply pulled the seats carpet and ecu, opened up the ecu and let it dry.
We checked all the fuses and replaced those that blew.
Then let everything dry before we tried to start it
The carpet took ages so for nearly a month we drove around with no carpet, but thats half the people on H-T anyway

It did have one bonus though, I was designated driver and one of my intoxicated friends threw up all over my car. was nice and easy for HIM to clean up
