Default lsvtec questions

i heard lsvtec is unreliable, why is that? is it because of the oil and people not taping the oil line correctly? I aslo heard taht you have have to get a tune at every 2500 miles like new spark plugs and stuff, but i know you have to change the oil at 2500 miles. And its unreliable at 8000 rpm, whats taht all about? thanks

An LS VTEC can be just as reliable as any other motor combination out there. It all depends on how and who assembles the motor and most importantly it MUST BE TUNED PROPERLY
