ok i have looked this up but the froums i've looked at don't tell me much,,,...i just put a gsr into my 88 dx hb well i cranked it the other day it the timing is off?...so i moved the dizzy to make up for it for right now....well i turn the car on but don't crank it...and i start hearing humming soo i look around and i found out it's coming from my iacv i unplug it and it stops........now i am running a obd0 obd1 conv kit and when i had my ls in the car i made the harrness...it has never done this...now i do have a plug or two not hooked up...b/c of the diff in the motors....i tried plugin up a differnt plug but the car wont start...it only starts with the one that makes the iacv hum...could it be bad..?...thanks and sorry for the long post...

 

How can you expect it to run right without all the sensors hooked up? Figure out where they go, and then try troubleshooting.

 

the only thing i don't have hooked up is the two pin boot on the back of the gsr b/c t's not there...and theres a green plug on the ls thats not on the gsr.......thats the only thing i don't have hooked up..
