Default Anyone have Blox Type B Cams (B18C1)? If so, read on...

Im pretty much finishing up my car from getting a complete overhaul. Just out of curiousity...how many of you are running Blox Type B Cams? I have a decent build...nothing major, but enough to get some good HP. I need to know what I can rev to being SAFE.

In a nutshell, here are a few of the major things done to my motor B18C1:

Port and Polish Head w/ Valve Job
CTR Pistons (81.50)
Blox IM
Blox Type B Cams
Blox Retainers and Dual Valve Springs
RC440 Injectors
Walbro Fuel Pump
B&M FP Regulator
Mr. Gasket Fuel Rail
Skunk TB
12.5lb Flywheel
LSD
Exedy Clutch
JDM Type R Crank Pulley
Hondata S200
DC Header
RSR Exhaust
Straight Pipe
Toda Timing Belt

Thats pretty much it as far as engine and tranny. Basically nothing is stock...everything was replaced - yep, even the little stuff (Dizzy, Mounts, Belts, etc). Let me know what some of you are redlining at safely without blowing a motor. The only stock items are pretty much my bottom end (GSR Rods, CTR Pistons, etc).

if you want to be dead safe i have always thought that you could safely rev to the highest limit of the least powerfull part, ie. your gsr rods were ment for around 8xxx so i wouldn't go past that, but thats just being safe

that thing would easily see 9k everyday if i owned it...and i'd feel safe about it..

GSR...type r...same ****...don't be worried.....

but hey...i'm just someone looking at a computer screen telling you to rev your car daily to 9k...take it as you willl....but my brother ran his stock R to 9300 everyday....only problem was valve seals...
