OEM fornt lip?
i have a 5th gen lude and i am currently dropped on neuspeed sport springs and riding on stock shocks. i want to get an OEM lip for the front but i am worried about the clearence issues if i get the front lip. my front seems very low cause of my shocks in the front are a bit old.
does anyone know the dimensions of the lip? thnx.

you won't have any problems. About the only thing that will happen is having rock chips.....I have a WW rs lip kit on my car which sits about an inch lower than the OEM kit, and my car is dropped probably almost 2", well just enough to fill in the wheel gap, but I don't scrape anywhere. Anytime I go over speed bumps or steep hills, I have to go at an angle.
i think they sell oem stuff, so yea it should be correct. i was thinkin of 2loww.com when i was talkin about the fiberglass. i would still call to make sure its not fiberglass before you buy it just to be safe

Their's nothing wrong with fiberglass as long as you dont go slamming into curbs and the car isn't winter driven.

Yea the lip is about 4 inches tall at most. a rock can crack fiberglass that short. geography matters, but dont think hitting a curb or winter are the only reasons. who wants to buy a fiberglass lip knowing it could break so very easy?

I don't know what rocks get thrown at the front of your car but they must be monsterous. The thickness of the fiberglass and how it's prepped and installed is a big concern and should be done by a professional but a cracked fiberglass lip is an easy repair anyway. I'm just saying if you can't find a lip you're looking for in anything but fiberglass it wont be the end of the world, and you likely wont have a problem if you don't bottom it out or crack it off anything.
