TW: Apex'i N1 Type PRO suspension setup (DC2)
I'm contemplating selling my beloved suspension setup. Not sure, but if i am satisfied with an offer, i'll let it go--to a good home of course!
_APEX'i N1 Type PRO
_Spring Rates: 16kg/mm front/ 6 or 7 kg/mm rear (instruction manual says something about 7kg/mm, but i called apex'i and they said 6kg/mm).
_Dampening: 16way adjustable
_monotube design
_Huge 52mm piston
_Fully threaded shock body (allows height adjustability without affecting spring preload).
**Requires the use of ITR LCA's (not included, but can be bought from places like passwordjdm).
This is the nicest suspension system I have ever owned, however i am contemplating selling it b/c my coworker has a used setup that i may pick up, depending on if i like it when i try it out.
This setup is also discontinued, and replaced by the weaker lineup of N1 suspensions that Apex'i now makes. The N1 type PRO suspension was made in Japan, and eventhough Apex'i doesn't admit it, I've heard that the new lineup of N1 suspensions are not made japan, hence their almost identical look to lower cost coilovers like Megan Racing, D2, K sport, etc etc.
I tracked w/ this suspension many times, and i couldn't be happier. The N1 Type PRO suspension retailed for over $2000 when it was new. On with the pics....i took pictures of the instructions, also showing how you can't use the stock brake line bracket, i zip tied my SS brake lines--this is actually what Apex'i suggests in the instructions (Image in the bottom left corner).
Asking $1200...negotiable of course, located in Irvine, Socal.
