Very confusing issue:S:S:S
hey folks, my diagnostic plug for checking CELs went bad, i changed it with another plug of the same type car as mine (Accord SiR-T F20B), i made the mistake of not disconnecting the battery while i cut the old plug off, will this cause any damage???? I put on the new plug (6 wires to the plug), and to my surprise the car will not start at all, it will just roll, before when any car is on ignition the CEL comes on and then disappears, my car does not even light up the CEL, it did before:S could it be a fuse refusing it to start, my fuel and spark was pretty fine before.....
any ideas guys????
any ideas guys????
its a 1997, i actually checked the fuses in the engine bay and they all seem to be fine, could the ecu get hurt if the car is not in ignition or can it get hurt otherwise?
well since there is a constant power wire in there there is a great chance you could have cooked it. And your just so lucky that I have a brand new one sitting in my toolbox if you determine yours is no good.
