Default Exhaust no cat ?

Ok the next thing I am planning to do is an RMF header. Currently I am running a DC ceramic header . Anyway I figure i should upgrade my exhaust setup to something larger in order to have the car setup for future mods ( bottom end work). Anyway I was thinking of getting a friend of mine to fab up an exhaust, pretty much do the bends and welds. I wanted to run no cat (with Hondata s300). How should a 2.5- 2.75 titanium exhaust sound with a JIC Magic Titanium Muffler with no cat with an RMF header? I just dont want to get it and have it sound like real tinny or fart canish.

make sure you have a long resonator to muffle the sound a bit. the ti jic muffler should be loud.

ya, i know what you mean. i'm in the process of getting a custom exhaust done too, going with a magnaflow ti exhaust though. but i'm pretty sure if you have a resonator it shouldnt sound raspy and "tin can."

just curious where and how much are you paying for the JIC Ti exhaust?

I found this exhaust, its not for a lude but it would be the same idea and doesnt run a resonator. So would that sound bad ?

no cat and no resonator with an rmf header is gonna be very raspy....

personally i like that sound, but many would disagree.....and with a big *** straight through muffler, its gonna end up being very loud and raspy

besides, there is no reason to run w/o a cat, just buy a hi flow cat, theyre not very expensive at all.....

Yeah test pipes are lame just get a Cat. I just ordered a 3in In-Outlet Magnflow Cat for $60 shipped on ebay for my friend's GST. Just look around in ebay stores some sellers got awesome feedback with really cheap NIB Magnaflow stuff.

That's what I did, but I only ordered a 2.5". They are, in fact, genuine Magnaflow (unlike lots of eBay stuff), and they sound great and perform well
