Don't let the doggs out. Everytime someone on this board gets scammed their immediate reation is lets go...or even better, lets get someone I don't know, to go rough this guy up and get my money back.

If you choose to go get your money you will spend money getting there, MD is about 5-12 hours from NJ depending what part), may end up in jail (READ: very expensive). It is just not worth it, the money you get for yourself, if you get any at all, will not cover your expenses, lost wages, etc. File a police report in NJ and MD, that is about all you can do.

If you are asked by someone to go get their money...don't do it. Do you want to go to jail for a computer buddy? Forget it, dumbest idea ever. What do you think these "scammers" are going to do, just write you a check when you go to their door demanding money for someone across the country.

All these vigilanty "lets go get em" posts are absolutely worthless, you got ripped off, too bad, you should have done your homework. Talk on the phone, get references, get an address get a number, use escrow. And if you do all that and still get screwed...call the police.

The two new threads at the top here are going to help a lot, but still try not to be an idiot buying stuff over the internet. If the only contact info a guy will give you is a hotmail account, you may want to think things over.

you don't have to beat him up

if he refuses to give you the money back, then proceed with a bitchslap or two

 

tell him that he has 2 days to handle business with you guys. if he doesnt comply, give him a beating so hard that he even gives you more money.

 

I'd give him a warning a face to face. Then proceed with a threat from pulp fiction, "A couple of hard faced pipin *****s take to the streets". or something like that. If that dont work in 2 days, then Just jack his coilovers/springs, and write an I owe U from You got jacked the F***ed up biatch!.

Or you go do the court thing to save your *** from alot of penalties and expenses.

 

always try the legal route first. you don't want to end up in jail while he is the criminal do you?
