Man those are nice! I was talking with Charles at ASP a while back about them. Went from prototype to production quick. Definitely gonna pick 'em up.

The sheet metal brackets look like they will give. The horizontal wall (triangle gusset part) isnt opposing anything, so the part that is actually bolted to the chassis may bend...take pix of it after Willow Edo.

Would have been nice to see a big aluminum billet mount incorporating the sway bar bushing in once piece.

Like i said I ran the prototype at Buttonwillow and nothing was bent. If it dont break/bent at BW it wont at WS.

i completely disagree. that looks about 10 gauge SS plate. itll be plenty strong, and billet aluminum would be very weaksauce.

did you miss the weld?

Why bother? ASR already has a kit for the DC/EG chassis!

does anyone know why he's not doing it like the eg with the subframe brace ?

I have yet to put the sway bar on but the brace it self seems to add quite a bit of stiffness there

Its very strong I dont think its ever going to bend unless the mount points tear from the floor. Good job Charlestone.

I wouldnt cantilever anything out like that without triangulating just for the sake of eliminating flex.

Did I mess the weld why? whats that supposed to mean?

i dont see anything cantilevered. except the swingarm, which is its purpose.

For the EG chassy, how do you think a bar like this compares to a standard 22mm bar from progess..

I've always thought about getting one of the ASR bars for the Del Slow, but I have never made the jump because the progress bar seemed to be doing the job!

Because the ASR kit for DC/EG is not legal for my class:
