Default Need some advice

whats up guys... first post. i need some help
right now i have a 1990 wagon. currently running b16a2 w/ y1 lsd tranny. heads been milled, bigger throttle body, dc 4-1 headers, somewhat of intake(password intake soon to come), and stock exhaust for now. I think its burning oil and it smokes white occasionally and if i run it hard it will smoke a little also. i want to pretty much fully build the motor and be running low 13's high 12's. any suggestions on where i should start? should i replace things first or start with internals? i just dont want to build the motor and then a minor problem that could have been fixed ruin it all. thanks guys... i really need the advice. SORRY ABOUT THE LONG POST.

I'd get the motor fixed before you even start worrying about more mods.

I can think of 10 ways of the top of my head to hit 13s you'll need to give us what else you want buget power band street driving etc and we can cook up some plans for you.

White smoke is normally coolant so i'd look at your headgasket first and foremost.

Do you want to supercharge turbo charge stay all motor use n20?

What kind of money do you have to spend?

uhh... i ithought about the possibility of a turbo later on down the road... i'm only 17 so my income comes from a part time job. i recently spent all my money on clutch and synchros(OEM)... i burnt out a stage 3 and didn't want the same thing to happen. Everything i put money into is from paycheck to paycheck if that makes any sense.

So a slow and steady buildup with the little extra cash?

got ya.

First as I said before investage what is wrong with your car I'm willing to bet it's headgasket not very big deal but it'll keep you busy for an afternoon.

I would say just start saving untill you are sure what you want. Search a ton on here and you can learn alot i'm sure you'll see some setups you might want to try
