Default KYB GR-2's on 1999 Civic Hatchback

I was planning on getting these for my vehicle just for daily driving.

BTW how do you check to see if your shocks are shot?

AND if my stock ones are still good should I still change them out for the KYB's? or keep the stock ones?

I just got some Tein S-Tech springs.

Input wanted thanks!

The GR-2s are a stock replacement only, and are not designed for aftermarket springs.

Look into Koni Reds, Tokico Illuminas or Koni Sports (Yellows). The Yellows have an adjustable spring perch, so you can lower using your stock springs; which I prefer for a daily driver.
