Default JDM 4-1 collector problem

Well I just received my JDM 4-1, and looks like it had one bumpy ride to get to my house. Thanks to UPS. Take a look at the pics, what should i do about the collector? Will there be fitment/sealing problems? Affect performence?

Take a dremel, cut out the inside wall.. and bang it out.. you will gain a little HP too!

Looks like it's just the outer piping(where the donut goes).. luckily not the inner piping, therfore it shouldn't affect performance.. Use a screwdriver to pry the outer piping back into place.. maybe a hammer to shape it back.. and get a donut and see if you can reshape the piping to fit the donut. Good Luck

Yuck! That's exactly how mine was when I received mine from R&D (obviously not their fault). Just make sure you get the correct gasket and you shouldn't have any problems.

I think if the gasket fits over it and there isnt any holes caused by the dents, it should be fine...but cutting that inside part out and banging it out a little bit would be the best solution.
