What tire size to use with 15x7 rims? 215/45/15s?
What tire sizes to you recommed for 15x7 for a DC2? I was really hoping to run wider then 205s. I'ver heard of a few running 215s and 225s. I was looking at the 215/45/15 Toyo T1S's but was curious what others had to say. Any and all suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!
I think 215 it is. Whatever tire rack recommends, normally u can go a size, maybe 2, wider. Problem is, certain tire companies vary their tire sizes such that one set of 215's may work great and other may rub.
I would recommend you listen to nsxtasy. He always says get a better tire not wider. I wanted wider tires too but I am getting some today that have a lot more traction than my current falkens.
ive ran 215/45 /16 on my fronts and liked em, theyd prolly look nice on 15s if your slammed

Great advice. If I was to get 205/50/15s would you recommend Bridgestone S-03s, Toyo T1Ss, or Yokohama ES100s.

I just received 205/40/17 for my volks. Bridgestone Potenza RE750 $52 dollars at http://www.tirerack.com !!! They are very well rated
. I am very pleased with tirerack! I ordered the tires, and got them today! Less than 48 hours!

I'll fill in for nsxtasy.
205/50/15 is the tire closes to the factory specs. Wider is not always better.
Also, what do you want out of the tire? Performace? Longevity?
A good tire is the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. But they only come in 195/50/15 for 15 in. only.
Falken Azenis are superb in dry traction but suck in wet and doesn't last long.
Yoko es100 are a good budget tire for the wet/dry.
It all depends on what you want and what do you need it for.

I'm looking for great grip in all weather because it rains all time here in WA. My main focus for the car is handling, if I can get better traction/handling out of the 215/45/15s then
but Iwasn't sure.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...RE750 - these are the ones I got
195/50-15 on 15 x 7. I'm a cheap bastard to get 205/50-15. After this set is done I probably will swith to Goodyear F1 since the S-03 is a lot more expensive now
