Default ive got a problem...please help a fellow tegger out....

ok, i purchased this door from a guy off of this site...my problem is, he didn't have a key to the door, so I do not have any way to unlock or lock the vehicle with my set of keys. What can i do to fix this problem? I can't seem to figure out how to take the old handle off....is there a way that i can contact acura to get a key made with the vin number of the car? or is there an easy way to take off the lock to make my ke ywork?

If you still have your old door just swap out the lock cylinder's so you can keep your same keys. If your not sure how to I'm sure any garage or body shop can do it.

not sure. just grab a manual and try on your old door first. That way you know how it's done, and you can do it on your new door without damaging anything.

Shouldn't be too hard, how proficient are you with hand tools? Have you ever used a Helms? What year is your car? Regardless I have the Helms in .rar format, if you have a large enough account, I will email you it (I have time, can't sleep b/c I took adderall XR at 10 trying to study)

I am pretty good with hand tools, now being able to fit my big *** hands in the small holes on that door will be a different story...
