Can somebody tell me the difference between the two JRSC kits?
I am looking into getting a supercharger kit for my type s and I am leaning towards the Jackson Racing one unless everyone thinks the Comptech one is a better kit. What is the difference between the C.A.R.B. legal one and the race one besides the fact that one is street legal!
Is it only a boost difference or are there internal differences? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

well the jrsc is cheaper, but overall, i would go with the the comptech for numerous reasons. just search on it. i think you mean the pulley sizes in the jrsc kits, they make different amountw of power depending on what pulley kit you desire.
Is the quality that much better with the comptech? Also are the power gains from just bolting it on about the same as the JRSC kit? Which one has more potential for power gains?

both have the same blower (eaton m62) and almost the same potential...i believe you can get a 3.0 pulley for the jrsc and a 3.1 for the ctsc. A lot of what you'll hear about whos better has to do with problems each company ran into in the past...most issues have been resolved.
CTSC scrapped the aftercooler project, JR has not. That may or may not be a factor for you. Though imo i'd rather spray / or run water/methanol cooling than buy an aftercooler (depending on price and effectiveness)

I dont know which is the better setup from experience, but there are a ton of guys running Jackson setups and it seems like a lot less using Comptech, just an anecdotal observation though.
The Jackson race kits comes with K-pro, smaller pulley and bigger injectors.
