anyone install TYC Projectors 1-piece headlamps w/H.I.D built in?
has anyone installed or seen quality of these headlights with HID built in?
is it in a plastic housing or glass?
comes with:
Philips D1S 4300K HID (lows)
H1's (for highs)
signal lights
winshield washer tank
and it's supposedly legal:
"*Must use supplied washer tank to make installation fit*
* SAE/DOT Compliant! SAE AIRST81DOT* Legal use on all public roads & highways."
price is $549

yes, there amazingly clear and look great on EG's, amazing cut off. im ditching my halo-craps for that exact kit soon
Bump for pix or a write up...
I'm was in the middle of retro'ing my bi-xenon's into the stock housing and then I broke one of my corner lights...
I would've had to buy a set of Stock shaped clear lensed TYC's to use the lense but now I need corners too so I may just get the one piece deals if it's easy to swap in the HID projectors.

There's some decent info on there. but it's kinda the same thing where lots of people chime in with retrofits and rebases... but it's got some info.

I wonder what projectors they use, and maybe I can't read but I didn't see any mention of the ballasts being included

What's so bad about that? That's a hell of a price if they include good ballasts and are actually using decent projectors

They actually look pretty good... but too rich for my blood... I already have bi-xenon HID projectors so I'm gunna get their halogen housings and mod in the bi-xenon projectors.

I went the cheap(er) route...those headlights and then loaded them up with 5k raybrigs for both highs and lows....when the lows are on people ask if I have an HID kit...with the highs on peole want to know what kit I'm running because they automatically assume it's an HID kit(I get a kick out of it every time I get asked that!
) total setup cost me just over 300 not bad and looks great, but true HIDs would be cooler IMO.
