Default 2001 Honda Accord Headlight ?????

I have alot of issue with my headlight on the passenger side of the car. I have replace it with many different set of light bulbs and it keeps burning the passenger side. I have used Eurolite Xenon and Nokya bulbs. It is getting really fustrating and would like to see if other are having this same issue. Please help out and recommend me the proper brand to use. I need to put xenon light in.

i'd say you probably have a short somewhere in your electrical system that is draining this bulb's life faster than it should...you should be able to get a diagnostic check for the electrical systems for around $50-$70...i don't know if you have or will go through the equal number of bulbs to equal that price but it would be good to know if your car's shorting out somewhere...good luck!

if it is a 2001 then you are probably still under warenty. Take it to a dealer and have them inspect it they shoudl do so for free unless you modified something having to do with the headlights.

the remote start might depending on who installed it and to what kind of quality it was installed with...my rear right tail light does this as well...i have to replace that bulb about every two months...it's a pain in the ***...but oh well...headlights would get expensive though...

Stereo has practically nothing to do with the headlights except the backlight for when the headlights come on but that should be on a different relay. As for the remots start maybe the company who did your alarm messed up when they went to do the flash in the headlights for when you arm/disarm the system.

Remote start was install professionally and the brand is VIPER. I don't think this would cause it but I don't know. when my remote start activate it blink my park lights not my headlight.

they still might have nicked the headlight wire accessing the parking lights and a slow caused a slow ground which could prevent a fuse being blown.

If I were you take it to the place that installed the remote start and act like it happened ever since they put it in if it didnt in the first place. It is not typical for cars to have problems such as this from the factory. Or maybe you just keep getting crappy bulbs. Just have the alarm place check their work.

That is what I am saying the ground might be so minor that the fuse would not be blown but it could make the bulb get "dirty power" and burn at a much higher rate.

I would understand if it would blow both bulbs but only the passenger side everytime.

yeah it is probably a wire that got damaged and is connected with some other positve wire or something. I am almost 100% sure something like this would not happen from the factory. I am thinking your alarm installation is the kulprit here.

I am thinking it could be the problem but my friend has a 2002 and he has the same issue. I don't know why either because he has not done anything to his car at all. I think I will call the dealer to get it in for diagnostic. Thanks for the help CmptchV6.

I have a way you can attempt to test it. The bulbs that were on your drivers side move them to the passenger side and see if the car burns the light out. If it does there is definatly a problem. Also try to use the stock bulbs and see if those get burnt out on that side.
