if you could pickup 10 or better HP from a coolant change
would you be willing to spend $50-75 on the coolant to do it?
im just wondering because a buddy of mine actualy made some coolant and has documented proof of power and tourqe gains just from switching to it, its also been tested and proven to be easier on metals like aluminum and what not and not eat them up like some coolants do and help cars run cooler..
i aint pushin his product or anything, but i wanna see how many people would actualy buy it if it were readily available? im going to be running it after building my motor

I'm pretty sure everyone on this forum would spend $75 for 10hp. but doubt that any more than 2% of this forum would actually believe such a feat is possible... Turbonator comes to mind.
i can post the actual dyno sheet next week, it was tested in 4 diffrent cars last weekend on a dyno to see the actual HP gains, a stock CRX gained 16 tourqe and 11 HP after the switch, im thinking the gains might be better for a built motor which is why i will be running it
i dropped half a second last week when i changed into my lucky socks. i'll be renting them for 75 bucks a weekend...
sorry to get on your case dude, but you need to back up the bullshit. coolant- wtf? my car doesn't get hot right now, what are you going to improve- water pump efficiency?

holy hell i just said i'd post the dyno sheet next week, get that monkey off your nuts and stay off my ******* thread if you dont like it
i simply asked if anyone would be willing to spend that much on coolant if it would actualy show gains (which this has, and i will post the sheets next week, i have to get them from the guy)
a cooler running motor is going to improve any cars operation regarless if it runs hot now or not

let me be the first to officaly say, shut the expletive up, proof will be posted next week after i get the dyno sheets
either you have something usefull to provide to this thread (as in answering the simple question) or you can shut the hell up

haha. this has to be a joke. a dyno chart posted will prove NOTHING.
Please before you go claiming these bogus gains, learn a thing or two. there is a little something called thermodynamics. heat=energy. some magic coolant that reduces temperature dramatically is not doing anybody a favor. there is a reason why engines are run under a certain temperature and controlled by a thermostat. and its not just emissions.

i honestly dont know how he accomplished it, i will ask him and see what he says
he originaly began by makeing coolant for liquid cooled computers and found it worked extremely well in cars also
i'll ask him next time i see him and let ya know..
would a coolant that could give you that much of a gain actualy be worth it to you though is the question?

again, shut your hole
we ran it on a ******* dyno and had a gain of 11 HP and gains on other cars as well, its not a joke, and if you think it is then laugh your fat *** out of this thread

Bro, you better calm down before someone reports your ***.
But yes, I would like to see the dyno results for this.

please, post this info in some other forums, like all motor or forced induction maybe even drag racing/autox. I have a feeling you will get more interest there.
Like I said, please educate yourself on the topic at hand. Only then will you realize how silly this really is.

and like i said, contribute something usefull or get off my thread, i was there for the dyno while they changed the coolants and saw the gain with my own eyes.. but i didnt post to brag, i posted a simple question i was curious about, and its in the EF forum because i will be running it in mine
i'll post it where i want

i know something about coolant for liquid cooled computers since i'm an ac tech specializing in computer rooms. They run glycol or treated water through the heat exchanger to stay cool. antifreeze contains glycol and water so i'm still waiting to see what's so special about this coolant.

Yep, who knows what really changed in before dyno runs.

I did post something useful. A good basic explaination as to why that is bullshit!!

Ok now i'm done having fun with this thread. Can someone take over from here.

Have your buddy post up why this coolant type/fluid is so great and how it managed a 11whp and 16ft lb gain. Running cool is good, but honnestly I dont see how it would make that much of a difference unless your car gets heatsoaked easily and magically adding this stuff and got those gains.
like i said i'll ask him, he's the one who made it not me
dyno doesnt lie espicaly when i was standing right there watching it, nothing in the setup changed other then the coolant between pulls

why would you go and report someone. Come on we should all be adults here. No need to go run and tell mommy and daddy. No need to threaten people about how someone might go tell on them. LOL

dang. you're like a little child getting angry because people won't listen to you calling wolf.
first, coolant isn't going to make hp. sorry. not happening. coolant is only going to allow the engine to run cooling. yes, running cooler allows for a better spark... but, not 11whp worth.
second, if you could convert an air-cooled engine into water-cooled, the chances of you making any hp is slim to none.
but, hey, you can post the dyno chart... i can post a dyno chart where I made 158hp by just changing the key that starts the car.
