Code 20? What does this affect?
Hey I'm throwing code 20.. Electric Load.. I can't seem to find out why its throwing this code, maybe what I can do to fix it.. I've went over all the grounds in the car, and I can't seem to find what the cause is.. also, does anyone know what this will do motor wise? my car has a little miss right now, like sounds kind of like a wrx (kickin on 3 cylinders almost) I'm not sure what this is coming from, I'm going to start small w/ plugs and new wires, and see if its something else. Thanks -Ben
have you done anything to your car recently? i did a mpfi swap and found out after that im always going to get a code 20 because the ecu is from an 88 and my car is a 91, 88-89 have electrice load sensor and 90-91's didnt. doesnt effect my car.. i think as long as your cel isnt on it should be fine .. but if you ahvent dont anything to your car then somethings wrong and i dont know what it is lol.
I have the code aswell. Its been that way for 3 years now. My car does not have an ELD to begin with. I'm really not too concerned about it...
You could try to wire one in. It's located in the underhood fuse box... But I think you have nothing to worry about.

My 89 civic si doesnt want to turn on because of code 20 it seems that there is not enough power to runn the wipers and light and the rest of the stuff. Would any of u guys know how to fix this and what would be causing it I changed the alternator.
