Default Buying new suspension for my EK

I want to drop my EK, but I'm on a $400 budget. Out of Tokico HP Shocks and Springs or Ground Control Coilovers (on stock shocks), which one would be better? Or any other recommendations? And would I need camber kits if I drop it "no gap" all around?

Get Tokico HP and some springs... stock shocks suck, and die quick. Especially being lowered on ground controls... the stock shocks don't stand a chance.

They're a good price here, if you decide on the Tokicos: http://www.prostreetonline.com...hocks/

GC's on stock shocks = pogo ride...

but then again, tokico HP's are just OEM replacement shocks, IMO id just wait it out and save some more.

dont go cheap on your suspension... you'll regreti t.

tokico blues arent much better than stock, if youre spending the money oyu might aw well get somethign better.
what are your plans for the car? DD? autox? weekend fun?

there was a local guy on craigslist selling kyb agx for i think around 280 a set. ( or here) that leaves you with 120 for springs, you can get h&r sport for mot much more than that new on ebay or used for around 100

the agx arent the greatest shocks in the world but they are much better than the blues.

as far as a camber kit, get an alignment, have the toe set to zero and you should be all set

The civic is my everyday car lol. I drive it to school, work, etc. But the height of the car right now just looks stupid I can always get more money, just looking for opinions on what type of shocks/springs/coilovers(cambers if needed) I should buy for it.

if your going only a moderate drop less than ~2 inches, your camber shouldnt be that bad at all.

like voyage said, just make sure you take it for an alignment after you are done.

also imo, if you dont track / autox your car, coilovers arent really necessary.
