Default CEL Code #1 on EG B16A WTF..........?

Here's the story. My CEL will come on one day when i'm driving to school, then it will go away and not come back for another week. And now its been coming on like everyday so far.

Here's the problem: I know that CEL #1 is the Oxygen sensor, but i just replaced it 5 months ago with a brand new one! What other possible issues could there be to fix this? -- car is a 94 civic EX with a JDM B16A and a chipped and tunned P28 ECU(if that mattters at all). thanx

well if you know the O2 is good, then its either physically the wires( may be frayed etc.) or the ecu is bad.

personally I would trace the wires from the O2 to the ecu and make sure there are no cut slices wear marks anything

good luck

well it could also be because you have a aftermarket fpr...and its throwing off the air/fuel and fowling the o2 quickly if you have a chipped computer or cams ,vtec controller,Fuel pressure regulator...and its not tuned correctly this will happen

if it comes on intermittently i would have to say bad wiring or the wire is rubbing on something possible? maybe a bad connection at the pin.. check those out you can also check the voltage that the sensor is putting out

i'll have to check the wires out, see if they're loose or frayed. Any other advise?
