how many people have rust?
i got some on the drivers side quarter panel too, and after i slid into a gaurdrail this winter, the gaurdrail hit that exact spot, so its gotten pretty worse through the winter.
but i'm planning on getting the bodywork done in a month or so, and most of the body shops told me that they were gonna cut that section out and weld in a new piece of sheetmetal.

I got bad bubbles on my driver rear panel, I hate so much, can't stand it anymotre it makes my prelude look like an old car. I'm planning om having the whole panel painted soon this summer hopfully
yeah rear quarter panel is normal for rust, ummm I heard from a buddy of mine that if you remove that rubber thing under the rear quarter it can help stop the spread of the rust...I never did it but just a thought...

Yeah my car is rust free pretty much, except for the sunroof which is going to hell in a handbasket. The quarterpanels are free of rust and I didn't even remove the rubber "rust creators" from the quarterpanels until about 6 months ago.
I've got some surface rust on my quarter panels that is hardly noticeable with touch up paint. Also got a little bit on the sunroof but i sanded it down and used some touch up it looks a lot better.

01 SE in Toronto, so we get about 5 months of salt a year, and no rust yet. I'll do a proper rustproofing this summer, any ideas where I could get the materials? Canadian Tire only has a limited (and pretty crappy) selection.
I'm starting to see quite a few earlier 5th gens with rust on the rear quarter panels.
