Electircal Problems....HELP!

Electircal Problems....HELP!
Just recently purchased a beater car. It's a 1992 Honda Civc LX sedan. 100K miles. Not bad!!! The only major problem is that my spedometer and odometer keeps dying on me. It does this like every other mile. Can any one help me diagnos the problem??? Thanks HT!!

Have you checked the vss plug for corroded pins?
