In your car under the glovebox on the far right side there is a dummy connector clipped to the support bar.
In the connector there are two connectors, one two pin and one three pin. Pull the two pin connector down and short it with a paperclip.
Turn your ignition on and count the blinks.
The quick blinks are the 10's place and the long blinks are the 1's place. so 3 quick and 2 long would be code 32 or 3-2

There is right next to the 2 pin connector a 3 pin connector that if you have the correct scanner will give you alot more info!

alright thanks for the help for real. now im really having trouble finding out what the code means. i know you tried to break it down but the way its giving me the codes i cant figure out the numbers. here is what im getting.

1 Quick
Pause
1 Long
1 Long
1 Long
1 Long
1 Quick
1 Quick
1 Quick

So I'm guessing its a 1 and a 43 which is an Oxygen Sensor and Fuel Supply System. Now the problem with my car is when I start the car up and take accelerate, sometimes it puts like the car is gonna stall, sounds like when the car is running and you take out a wire for the spark plug and sounds like its gonna stall. thats the problem I've been having. But when the check engine light comes on, it comes on at random but nothing ever feels wrong except for that problem. And my cars temperature is raising all the way to overheating and when i check my antifreeze it gets drained quick. i got my water pump changed 3 times already and usually when i had that problem it was the pump. if its that again im gonna be pissed

you got it all right up to reading the codes ,, you got it backwards

the long blink = 10
short blink = 1
thus 3 quick and 2 longs = 23 ..
