Default If valves tic......

does this mean they are too tight or to loose?

my Dohc ZC was ticing so i did a valve ajdustment and set the intake side to .005 and the exhaust side to .006 and now the valves tic even louder.....i am 100% sure the car was cold i let it sit over night...this was my first time doing this and i plan on doing it again because of the ticing but was wondering ...if a valve tics is this because they are too tight or to loose? i may have just messed up doing it..

I think it's too tight. I thought it was .006 for intake nd .008 for exhaust...but I don't remember so don't use those numbers. Wait for someone who is sure.
