Some one made a template that you can print out for the hood cut out. I tried searching but i cant find it. I need a template or a picture so I know where to cut. Post up pics or send them to my email at anguyen@shimano.com

1) Open hood
2) Take off heat shielding material
3) Look at the flat parts between the skeleton bracing of the hood.
4) Cut it out.
5) Cry, because you just FFFFF'd up a perfectly fine OEM hood, and it's going start chipping paint from the edges in.
6) Buy a CF hood with actual vents.

Enjoy. Do-it-yourself projects rule!

Actually one of the guys is looking into doing this mod, and he's a metal worker. I wouldn't recommend it to an average joe.

Nguyen's are smarter than that. Act like it, take a joke, or GTFO!

Nah I dont take jokes from cats I dont know, esp when they from IL. A template would help me a lot and prevent me from f uckin up. Id rather be safer than sorry. You guys swear it takes a rocket scientist to do this. Yes anyone can do it but if its done before why not help? This is a tech forum and I asked for help. So far I didnt get any. Its cool I know how most of you s2 owners are.

Was that too hard for you? I'm surprised you read past that.

SUPREME,

Follow this link in S2Ki. Go and find the post by"turbo_pwr", and you'll see a pick posted of the template.

Read the thread....it'll tell you how to take that picture, cut and paste it into a word document, that you can then print and use as a cutout template.

http://www.s2ki.com/forums/ind...24698

Hope this helps.
