I understand nothing wrong with triple checking before you spend the $$.

If you want good honest quality parts with a warrenty, and awesome customer service-quick delivery-hot run engines-etc.....

DONT USE ANY OTHER IMPORTER THAN HMOTORSONLINE.COM

HMO baby, the quality is there, and it's reasonably priced $1495 for complete changeover, and I paid like around $1700 shipped with LSD like 3/4 years ago. Go with HMO, my JDM b16 is still running strong, and no broken sensors/missing parts when recieved!!!

exactly. I mean since the engine hasn't been installed yet, mind as well change alot of parts as you can so you dont have to worry about it later on like

Head gasket ( I wish I had done this )

timing belt

water pump

tensioner

oil pan gasket

intake manifold gasket

TB gasket

etc

Yes, change all of the above, you will regrete it if your timing belt snaps, or your water pump gives out. Remember these engines have been sitting in a yard for up to a couple of years, yes they are good motors, but preventive maintence is your friend. Do it right the first time, and you will have fun days ahead.

for real. you'll be super sad if you expletive your motor because you didn't change out some basic parts. we love our hondas and we don't want anyone to not have fun with theirs.

I was too poor to do preventative maintainence. When I get my garage I am prolly going to replace the water pump. I was also going to do timing belt but when I took the cover off I discovered it was almost completely new. I did a full inspection and found it to be flawless, and a year later it still is.

Do the maintainence though. Better safe than sorry.

Their service is great too. My distributor had been damaged in shipping, and they got me a replacement no questions asked.
