u dont need to keep it from moving just make sure its lined up when u slip the top part of th belt on u know how to do it? 3 lines on crankshaft the red one is top dead which lined up with the "up" on the cam and make sure the 2 lines on the cam are paralell with the head and ur timing will be perfect....put the belt on the bottom first the tighten it up and slide it on the top thats the easiest

1. TDC is not the red line in the middle of the three - the three lines together are for ignition timing - TDC is the white mark a little off to the right of the three
2. lining up the 2 lines on the cam gear is correct for D15B1, D15B2 and D15B6, but is <U>not</U> correct for the Si D16A6 - for the A6 you use the third mark on the gear which is at about 7 o'clock and line it up with the pointer on the inside timing belt cover
