How much paint is needed to spray a del sol?

Will one gallon be enough... PPG cost 256$ for 1 gal. of the premium acrylic w hardener

painting everything but the bay

 

should be under 1000 for a bc/cc system. *ppg

i think you should be using urethane....

im using dbc basecoat, k36 primer, and 2021 high solids clear

a gallon is plenty, and its around 250 for a gallon, you will have enough left over to do the bay and interior too LOL if youre efficient when you shoot the car

 

I think one galloon will be more than enough.

 

you should be able do get by with 2-3 quarts of base and the same amount of clear. i assume you are just scuffing the oem paint and spraying your base right over it. if the two colors are very different (like white over red or yellow) then you will need to buy some tinted sealer.

 

infact, im media blasting the trunk, engine bay and floor.... then sanding with a power sander:: the entire car inside and out down to the metal... then priming,painting, and clear clear clear coating
