Have a problem with TEIN SS on a 5th gen. prelude
Today I installed my tein SS coilovers, I set it to almost the lowest position and everything seemed fine. I took it for a ride and it felt pretty good. However when I raised the car to change the rims I noticed that the spring was rubbing against the body of shock and it also ripped the dust boot, so I was curious why this is happening and I found the problem. When set to the lowest position the spring is totaly loose, it's not compressed at all, in fact it has about 1" gap between the upper strut mount and the spring so I guess it wasn't centered in the mount properly and when I lowered the car it started rubbing against the shock. The spring sort of seems too short to be lowered all the way.
I'm curious if anyone had this problem and what did you do to prevent this? anyone lowered all the way with SS please help.
Thanks!

its usually not an issue with ground control adjustable spring kit. not sure what about teins youre having issues.
try zip tieing the spring to the upper perch. you might have to drill a few holes in the top hat so it wraps around the spring.

I don't like butchering, is there any normal solution for that or does everybody zip tie the spring to the mount? Is it possible to get helper spring from tein?
