Default what to get...00 civic si

i just got $400 for a job and all of it is going into my car...but im still debating on what to get...my friend said i can get some crappy boost on it but im leaning towards bolt-ons, my si already has intake but its worn out so im replacing it with a AEM one. So im thinking about basic stuff, headers, intake, exhaust, maybe even get some cams from my friend, decent ones only for about $100.

Thank You for the help.

oh and i have a question about cold air intakes...is there a significant difference from regular size intakes and short rams...i would think that short rams are sucking in warm/hot air cuz its next to the engine..

and my RPM is dropping to around 500 on idle...its boggin nasty...what to do.

oh about the question about what parts to get...its all going to a good cuase.. some dude at my school did a fly-by on me when with his convertible eclipse with a stock turbo, i was going 40 on 4th and him going like 60 and now he thinks hes the sh*t with his small turbo and BOV, i know i can take him right now after i get a tune up, my friend's friend beat him with a integra gsr and my friend with a del sol smoked the gsr...and the del sol is running about same stuff i got.

hah lol i was going to get my parts primarily from ebay but my friend knows someone who can get parts from warehouses before their distributed to stores, so i can get some sort of price lower then retail but ebay is still cheapest i believe
