I have no clue what's wrong...unknown knocking sound
aight so my rear driver side wheel has knocking sounds on every rotation, does anyone have any idea what this is, has this happened to anyone else?
my neighbor said it might be the bearing?
my neighbor said it might be the bearing?
the wheel bearing would the be the first thing i would check, theres not much else it could be on the rear wheels unless somehow something is hitting, such as the brakes, id give it a visual inspection and if everything looks normal, get the bearing replaced
actually its not hard at all, just have to have the right tools, im not sure on the exact cost of the bearings themselves, but surely they cant be over 30 or 40 bucks and thats a high guess...if you dont have the right tools, you can rent them from autozone or somewhere, you just need to find someone with a helms manual and get that section on rear wheel bearing replacement
