Long story short I have a 97 Prelude that dropped its SS tranny. I ordered one from Password Jdm a few months back. I went to install it yesterday when I discovered that its for a 4th gen not a 5th. I was thinking that the tranny for the 4th gen is probably stronger since they didn't drop before 30k. So my question is is there any way to convert it to work? It looks like it should bolt up. Can I just buy the shifter column from a 92-96, and rewire the connectors? Anyone that has any info at all would be very help help full. I don't want to swap to a 5 speed and I have looked every where for a 5th gen tranny that works. Thank you Aaron
