Default i need opinions on LSD n Clutch

if any of u guys can just give me an idea of wwhat setup i should go with. I know LSDs r a lot of money but i wanna make sure i get a part that wont break on me. I found on a site, phantom grip, if anyone has one or has heard of it please let me know. then im wondering on wat clutch setup i want. I am pretty sure i kno wat flywheel to get soo thats not that big of a deal, but wat clutch can i go with for everyday drivin, n strong enough to withstand the hp of a turbo? i do plan on a turbo by next summer only cuz i gotta build up the block n head, n of course the tranny. suspension is done already, so thats one thing out of the way. if anyone has an recommendations, it would be appreciated... thank you

from everything i've read phantom grip is real shitty. you should ask around in the road race forum for some real good suggestions on LSD, since they all race and put them through alot of abuse, they will have alot of a betetr idea fo who makes good LSDs and whata re durable. from the top of my head Kaaz, quaife, and cusco are all real good companys, but are pretty expensive. how much power are you planning to make with your turbo? if your not planning much increase in power a stage 1 cluth from exedy or CM should be sufficient, my friend had a boosted EG running about 8psi with a OEM replacement exedy clutch and it held up fine, but it did wear out pretty quick, it probably was lsippinig a little, not enough to notice but cintributed to the excessive wear

Your stock differential should be fine. Personally, I wouldn't shell out the cash for a limited slip until I was already turbocharged, unless you are going to autocross the car or something. As for the clutch, most have TQ ratings so you can pick the right one. Since you are going turbo, it would be best to stick with a lightened stock flywheel, or if you do get a lighter one don't go lower than 12.

well i plan on pushin somewhere between 270 whp n 350... all depends on if i get a standalone... but the reasoni was looking into the LSD now, is because i have a crappy replacement clutch, n i wanna do away with it, n it would be the same price to get the lsd installed n the clutch n flywheel rather then spending the labor fees at diferent times. i wanna knock them all outta the way at once. the flywheel i didnt really wanna go lighter than 12, but i guess i can always lighten the stock one... idk its just that i got 130K on it soo i really dont wanna push all the old parts. the lsd i was told around 750... its a lot especially if i wanna get the clutch which is around 400 n the flywheel aound 150... but hey i want it done rite... n for a low labor price lol

IMO with anything over 200whp in a front wheel drive a LSD would be something seriously worth considering, wheteher your auto-x or drag, you will benefit alot fo the extra grip.
