I went ahead and bought the filter and installed it. pretty straightforward. I was supplied from Acura the necessary gaskets. I used them all except for the small one that goes on the bottom of the fuel filter. It fell out and we couldnt find it. So we hooked the bottom back on without the little o ring thingy. Started it back up and no leaks. My question is.....how essential is having that little gasket in there? I mean there wasn't any initial leaks after we started it up and also no leaks when i got home. Over time can this lead to any problems? Thanks for the advice.
