Technically speaking from my point of view, the car needs to meet US crash standards. The integra's in the United States were tested with USDM front ends. Making the argument that the JDM front end was never tested with US crash standards.

The fact that the structure of the car is the same is what determinds that... The front support and windshield are the only things that need changing as long as the vehicle meets regulations on smog, light requirements and restraint requirements.

Call up your DMV to find out what needs to be done...

not the exact reasons, but thats just how it is.. you have to replace all the windows from jdm cars.

you know.. you might even want to consider getting another us itr and parting the entire jdm itr into the us itr.. basically the entire front clip..

then part out the itr.. youll get a decent amount of money for it.. either way though, its gonna be expensive

Not true.

AS1 = DOT approved front windshield
AS2 = DOT approved side and rear glass

JDM ITR's have AS1 stamped front windshields, and AS2 sides and rear glass.....and the letters D O T are etched right into the glass.
