Default SRS light, power inturruptions 98 Ex

So I noticed the other day that my SRS light came on. Then off...then back on. In addition to this the stereo goes off when I hit the brakes. And the speedometer needle drops to 0.

When I turn on the headlights the car misses and the speedometer needle drops to 0.

Then it all goes away and everything works normally.

I checked the battery with my ohm meter and it was 12.something with the car off. Turned the car on 14.4v. Seems normal.

Today it started doing the SRS light, stereo, speedometer needle issue again. I pulled over and checked the voltage. 14.2v

Could this be a ground issue? I was going to check them. there is one from the battery to the body. Then there is one from the power steering bracket to the body. Are there any others?

Also any other ideas would be handy. Thanks

EDIT: also I turn the dome light on when its doing this and it flickers. Odd thing is that it all goes away and runs fine. Then after a while it reverts to this issue again.

sounds like some wacky electrical issue. Check the fuse box maybe?

yeah check the fuse box. Did you jump off the car or purchase a new battery recently? A fuse of mine went out last week, after a jump. And make sure those grounds are tightened. I'm not sure about other grounds, if you find them out, makes ure they're tight, sounds like a fuse is on it's last leg or a ground or positive is loose. Check the fuse box under the hood 1st.

I did check all the fuses under the hood. I thought maybe a main relay or someting was going out however the car usually runs fine. just seems to be low voltage.

The fact that its intermittant is what bugs me. If it were an alternator I doubt it would be like that. Although you never know. I will check the grounds but if I can't find it I guess I just wait for whatever it is to finally crap out.

I have checked the fuse boxes. But I honestly don't know what exactly I would be looking for. A loose fuse? If thats the case, everything looks fine.

The car has not been jumped as long as I have owned it. ~50k miles.

The positive battery cable corrodes. I cleaned it a few months ago when this problem first occured and it didn't happen again till just recently.

no, your looking for a BLOWN fuse. Look at the fuse and see if there is a space in it(it's blown then). U can look at them all or just look at the map of fuses and figure out which ones it's effecting.
