does anyone even rock a dial-up modem anymore? i dont know, it seems kind of stupid to put a 56k warning in a thread title, except for the possibility of being clever. i know its not a big deal, just wondering if anyone else finds this pointless or if people are actually using 56k...

b/c some people who are barely fortunate to have a computer can't afford anything else. Also, there are people that still live in undeveloped area's...where dial up and satelite are their only options.
I ask you....why are you so close minded as to think that everyone has every technological advantage? I also ask, are you that lame that you have to ask?

1) If you can afford a car, you can afford broadband. ~$40 a month, that's like 1 tank of gas
2) The majority of the US has the technological advantage, yes

3) Yes I am

1-Not true...its called priorities
2-Still wrong, my dad lived in a brand new house on 5 acres of land and he was by no means poor. His satelite connection was un stable, thus we had to use the phone line.
3-The biggest step is acceptance
4-HT is not ran by cali, but it thinks it is.
