Ever since I did my lsvtec swap I have has an oil leak. I found one leak and it came from my oil pan gasket. Simple fix. But now I have another small leak that goes down the front of my block near the tb cover. I was told by a shop that it was my cam seals being on backwards. So I put them on the right way and even put honda bond on them and still the same leak. When looking at the leak I track it all the way up to where the head meets the block. Thats one leak thats pissing me off.

The other leak is worse. Its on the back so its hard to just run the car and see what leaks. There is just puddles of oil on all the ledges on the back of the block. Every time I park it just drips. It obviously only leaks when I have the car running and right after I turn it off. It leaks for a while then stops. I figured it was my head maybe not tqed down all the way so I took all that **** off and tqed it down. Still leaks just as much. Does anyone have any ideas????? It leaks about 1 qt every 2-2 1/2 days. PLEASE HELP!!!!

 

Anyone have a clue what it might be?

 

when you put the new head on did you change the bolts? or ger apr bolts or just reuse the same ones?

also did you check the head and block for warpage?

 

I got arp head studs. No i did not check if it was warped or not. I figured I just used the head and it was fine and the block was in perfect working order when it was run last that it would be fine.
