Best Rotors/Pads
I have a 4g lude. Right now I need to replace my rear pads and rotors. I dont need to do the fronts for a few more months, so for now its just the rears.
So what are the best pads? I need something that will last a while (this is a daily driver), doesnt give alot of dust, and performs well. Any suggestions? I have so far heard AEM, stillen and axxis amongst others...
Now for rotors, is it best to get xdriled, slotted or both? I live in california so there is lots of heat. Which will last a while without cracking or warping? Also, how makes the best rotors at a reasonable cost?
Lastly is there a problem if I have stock front brakes and performance rear brakes? Its just that I dont have to do the front for a few more months, so I would rather save up for a nice caliper upgrade to. The rears need to be done right now there, for there is almost no pad left.
Thanks, Jordan

If you can get the search function to work...
Honda318dx and I had a productive conversation that resulted in his convincing me that crossdrilled rotors are worthless. The topic had something to do with someone wanting to cross drill their stock rotors....
Anyway try to search...I can't get it to work...

Slotted rotors won't do crap either for street driven cars, unless you want looks.. My slotted rotors didn't feel any different from the cheap as solid brembo's I run now, so why spend the extra money..
Call http://www.collettimotorsports.com They will set you up with brembos for the best price I have seen.. As for pads, contact Andie Lin at http://www.carbotecheng.com Tell him Corey sent you.. Don't have time to post anymore, late for a physical "cough"

.if you are race (autocross or road events) I would spend the money on slotted. For street drive they are NOT worth it. For street driving, spend your money on better pads, they WILL make a difference.

Also I Colleti and they said they dont have a rear rotor application for 92-96 Preludes in blanks... Odd, but he said he will check with brembo and call me back.
DO any other cars have identical rotors to the 92-96 preldues?
Thanks, Jordan
I dno't think brembo make the rear rotors anymore.. What makes you think you need to replace them, they basically NEVER go bad...
As for pads, like I said above, call Andie Lin at carbotech, he will hook you up with what you are looking for http://www.carbotecheng.com
Great service
