Default J35 in an Accord

i was wonderin would it b possible to put a J35 (RL motor) into the current Accord i mean its the same engine series also would u beable to hook up to the Accord or TL 6spd

I dont think the newer J35 blocks will bolt up to the tranny. You'll need a plate made for it to fit. The older J35 blocks will fit though. I dont remember the year cutoff for older and newer. It might be 02 for old and 03 for newer.

what year? It works best with the DIS cars... you can swap the block from oddesey or MDX (earlier than 03) and go from there.

I was thinking about swaping a 3.5L block and using my heads with the distributor and just go for the increase in torque and HP over the 3.0L block and using the CL-s cams.


use the CL-S 6 speed it bolts right in with no mods needed to the drive train
