Default Seat Belt Trouble

My car is a 1991 Honda Accord Lx sedan,American made model. My front seat belts are comprised of two seprate units.Lap belt functions fine, shoulder belt is one that functions back and forth when door is opened and closed. My drivers side has stopped working in the onen door position and the seat belt reminder BEEP is always beeping.I can't get the belt fixed at this time so I'm needing to know how to disengage the BEEPING reminder.I'm hoping it's as simple as pulling a fuse. All help welcome.Thank You I was also told that seat belts are guaranteed against defect for the life of the car.Is the really true and if so what should I do or who do I contact about replacement?

It's really sketchy sometimes. Honda says they are covered for the useful life of the car. But dealers don't always follow that. What I would do is call American Honda and tell them what is going on and let them give you a go or no go before you even hit the dealer. Then if AHM says yes the dealer can't argue.
Well the ETM isn't too specific what one will shut it up but I can give you 3 choices. fuse 36, 24, or 35

There is only 1 harness under passenger seat in my car but there is an identicle 1 under drivers seat to.they are under the seat right next to the lap belt catch.didn't work.my problem is the automatic shoulder belt being stuck in front position,If I force it back by hand it stops beeping but as soon as I open the door it goes to the front again.I can't force it back every time,it takes a lot of power to move it.any other ideas without removing the speaker?

Hi Susie67. Actually Honda normally will not cover electronic portions of the automatic shoulder belts under the lifetime seatbelt warranty. Behind the center post moulding (Right behind your drivers seat on the left side) you will find the motor for the auto belt which will have a hex key insert which will allow you to put the belt in the back position. Then unplug the rear position sensor (The 3 pin connector at the motor) Now it will act like a normal shoulder belt without the annoying beepers.
