Default B18B1 CBR 954 ITB's

Ok I have my project started but have run into a few little issues. I have the manifol cut and potred a little along with the ITB's for better match and flow. I am about to go to the machine shop but I can't find the right aluminum stock for runners that need to be welded on.

1. Does anybody know what size aluminum stock to use for the runners, and where i can get it?

2. Does the TPS need to be modified in anyway or is it really just plug it in and go?

3. What is that part with the 2 vacuum ports coming off and is it needed? (image originally posted by grip king)

Is there anything beside fabbing the velocity stacks and welding the runners to the flange that needs to be done?

what are you using to tune? Since it is a honda tps, it should show the same voltage as the one on your car...dont quote me on that tho. And you "should" be able to just plug in the stock honda harness into the tps.

If the above is not the case then with ITB tools in crome it has a feature where you can input the voltages of the TPS and if they are different than your stock voltage, it will scale it to where it will read correctly.
You just have to input WOT voltage and 0% TPS voltage.

your diameter and runner length are dependent on where you want to make your power and they are detrimental to doing things right. If you mess up your runner length and sizing, your gonna miss out in alot of power.

http://www.jenvey.com has LOTS of info on this.

I cant tell you exactly how big my runners are because i didnt put them on, but of course the size of mine would be completely different than yours considering i have .4L on you and larger throttle plates.

just check out jenveys tech articles first and get your numbers right. It takes a little bit of time to figure all that stuff out, but in the end, all the work is worth it.

good luck.
