Default HELP Needed!!! B16a Swap

I have a crx (beater) that i picked up with a b16 in it. I want to take the b16a out and put it in my si hb.

Yesterday, I started this process. These are the steps that I might need help with.

Axle removal
shift linkage removal
Clutch cable removal
Some odd cable in the back of the motor connected to the tranny i think (might be the speedo cable) need to know how to remove that.

Everything else is pretty much yanked.

If you have any ideas or tutorials i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

u should be able to just slide the speedo cable out of the tranny.before u take the tires off break the axle nuts lose, then jack jump the front and take the tires off.the shift linkge has a roll pin in the shifter bar where it hooks to the tranny.take some long *** extions and a old small bolt that fit right on top of the pin and hit the **** out of it from the top of the engine bay.doing it from underneth the car sucks.oh yea be sure to drop the tranny fluid frist before taking out the axles.trust me ull make on hell of a mess.when u pop the ball joints be eazy on them so u dont mess up that dust boot. ull need take off the throttle cable.unhook the harness.take out the rad makes for more room when pulling out the motor.unhokk the exhsust pipie.be careful not to damage the tps when taking out the motor.

I dropped the tranny fluid out already, so to pop the shift linkage come from the top huh, not sure if i can see it from the top of the motor, well at least when i had it up on jack stands. I am going to try to do that.

Now with the speedo cable i pulled on it and it seemed like it could come out but it was snug on something , so i just have to yank it out?

For the axles do i need any special tool for it? ball joint i heard of some kinda of pickle fork or something, should i get that?

Radiator and cross member removed since the DC header that was on this motor was shot to hell and the person who did this swap did not make enough room on the crossmember to yank the header with out removing that cross member.

ok, the roll pin has some sort of clip covering it ull have to pry it off with a flat head and while your under there might as well losen exshut bolts and the shifter stablizer bar from the tranny.i think the bar has a 12mm bolt holding it on.next i would get a tool from autozone call a ball joint seprater so u dont mess up the dust boost on the ball joint.the fork tool messes it up sometimes so?ull need a pry bar so u can gently bar out the axel from the tranny.same with a the half shaft.when u take it out besure not to slam the engine aginst the firewall and bust up the map sensor as well as the tps.commen mistake made.when u get it out it would be good time to inspect the clutch for wear and change pilot bearing and throw out bearing.best advise would be to buy new clutch kit it will come with all that.take out the engine oil before takeing out the motor so when u get it out u can change the filter.so when u put it in the new car it will have fresh oil in it. bout the speedo cable dont yank it look down there should be plastic clip u can turn that will like unlock it then i take pull it out. dontforget ull need both clutch and throttle cable for the next car.
