Special Projects Motor Sports, who brought you the popular 4.9 & 4.7 ratio final drives for the ’88-’91 Cable trans CRX/ Civic, is pleased to announce that we have once again come to an exclusive arrangement with SRR (Super Road Racing) who, in future will be manufacturing a range of Honda Final Drive Ratios to our specifications.
Special Projects recently obtained the services of a top US metallurgist and destructive engineer to test several failed Aftermarket Final Drives for Honda's. His recommendations, as well as the feedback of many of our competing, road racing customers, lead us to believe we now have the solution to many of the catastrophic Gearbox failures suffered by Racers using aftermarket final drives sold in the past by SRR, and other overseas manufacturers who until now, have all been using the same machining technique.
Working closely with SRR in Taiwan we now have gears manufactured to our own specifications.
We are pleased to announce that despite the extra cost of the new machining process and the increase in life expectancy of these gears, we are still able to offer extremely competitive pricing at $510.00 per set, plus shipping. (Sales tax will apply to goods sold in California).
The Final Drives will be available for CRX/Civic ’88-’91 Cable Clutch Trans- 4.7 & 4.9 Ratios
Civic SOHC ’92-’00 Hydraulic Clutch 4.7 & 4.9. We expect our first shipment before the end of May 2006. This will be followed by a shipment of 4.7 & 4.9 ratios for B18C and B16A Honda’s
Introduction Special…The first shipment of ’88-’91CRX/Civic and ’92 up SOHC Civic 4.7 & 4.9 ratios will be at the old price of $485.00 + $12.00 S&H While Stocks last! (Sales tax will apply to goods sold in California)
