A local Sounthern California S2000 owner Travis Hunt died in his Berlina Black S a few weeks back. It was a solo car accident on PCH in Newport Beach that closed the highway both directions for 4 hours. His passenger walked away unharmed.
Travis was 34 years old and in the prime of life. He left behind a wife Wendy and two young daughters. They have been devastated by this occurence. He had a small life insurance policy that was inadequate to cover his credit card bills.
The Southern California Community across all boards is comming together and having a tribute and fundraiser for the Hunt family. I am inviting each and everyone of you to join us in saying farewell to Travis.
We will be meeting in Irvine early Sunday morning, May 7th at the parking lot 250 Commerce. This is just off the 5 freeway at Jamboree. Arrival should be no later than 6:00AM so we can all caravan to Eibach for an early morning fund raiser. The entire event will be completed around 9:00 AM.
The fund raiser will consist of a short service, and a raffle. Local companies have donated thousands of dollars in prizes for the raffle and all proceeds will go to the Hunt family. Please open your hearts and purses to help out some truely needy members of the S2000 family.
Please set aside this morning time to join us. I will post a map and directions later in the week.

This is an S2000 only event but others are welcome to make donations.
Thank you
